Sam’s been upstairs to investigate, but apparently there’s absolutely nothing to worry about.

We’re not entirely convinced 🤷

Would you have your stairs carpeted like this? 👀

A customer wanted to keep their white staircase on show, but still have carpet on each step.

Not something we get asked for every day, but we think it looks brilliant!

And the lads even filmed the fitting through their Meta glasses, so you can see how it all came together 😂

We’ve got Alfie learning the ropes with Jason at the moment, and it’s great to see him getting stuck in! 👏

Jason’s been fitting carpets for years, so there’s plenty for Alfie to learn (whether Jason likes having someone watching his every move is another question 😂).

Here’s the two of them working on a recent job, and the finished result!

If you’ve ever wondered why we let customers take carpet samples home… this is why 👇

Because a carpet that looks perfect in our showroom might look completely different in your living room.

So take a few home, put them on the floor, see what they look like in daylight, then change your mind and come back for another five. We genuinely don’t mind!

Meanwhile, Nicola will be here trying to remember where they all came from 😂

We’re always amazed at how many people in Saffron Walden don’t know we’re here 👋

We’ve been in the flooring business for over 50 years, but somehow we still get people walking through the door saying they’ve only just discovered us.

📍 8 Station Street, Saffron Walden.

Carpets and flooring downstairs.
Beds, sofas, furniture and plenty more upstairs.

If you’ve never been in, come and have a nose around.

And yes… you’ve probably seen one of those vans around town too 😂

Now THIS is trust 😂👏

The landlord lives abroad, her tenants needed new carpet and she basically trusted us to sort it.

Between the tenants and us, we chose the carpet, worked out what would suit the house and got everything organised while she was miles away.

And this was the finished result 😍
