This Edwardian bedside cabinet got the Monika P Interiors treatment โ€” and wow! ๐Ÿ˜ Painted in blend of Old Fashioned Milk Paint in a dusty pink and adorned with her own custom decoupage paper, this little cabinet is a true work of art. The antique brass hardware and chippy patina just make it chefโ€™s kiss.

We just love this project by our talanted customer Rachel Horsley. To immortalise her beloved bunny Taz, she upcycled this freecycle armoire using a selection of our milk paint colours to create something totally unique!

She used milk paint from both our Old Fashioned Milk Paint and Sweet Pickins ranges -the main colours are Lemon Drop and Tavern Green, but she also layered up Providence and Basil on the panels, each overpainted with Adelaide and Pitch Black and then rubbed down to get a textured colour background. All the detail uses the same paint colours, but mixed to create her own bespoke tints. Finished off with clear and antique beeswax and a bit of gold leaf here and there.

She says: "Love milk paint! Safe around the parrots as it's VOC free and all natural ingredients. Gotta trust the process though as it's a bit unnerving when you first apply it. Anyway RIP Taz, you were an excellent bunny and friend to Dinky"
