This incredible media room was handed over to our fantastic clients today. The room was very acoustically challenging with 11m high vaulted ceilings and a huge open floor plan. We installed bespoke room treatment but could only go so far without compromising the ethics of the room. Our client has an excellent ear and loves music so a Lyngdorf MP40 2.1 processor and an MXA-8400 power amplifier were chosen to be the heart of the system as we knew that RoomPerfect would be the perfect solution for this space with incredible effortless power on tap to drive the full M&K 5.3 THX DOMINUS loudspeaker and subwoofer system 🔊🎶🎬. This is a reference grade movie and music system and RoomPerfect worked its magic once again 💪🔥

We officially handed over this spectacular media room today to our delighted clients. 🤩 Client brief was for epic audio, tight bass, all hidden and to improve the look of the room and acoustics. We specified an 5.3 THX DOMINUS loudspeaker and subwoofer system featuring IW500 in wall speakers x 5 and X15+ subwoofers x 3. Processing and amplification courtesy of featuring an MP40 2.1 processor and MXA-8400 power amplifier 🔊💪 We installed stretch fabric vaulted ceilings with room treatment and bespoke custom panels with acoustically transparent fabric and absorption by our partner cabinetry makers who also built the exceptional cabinetry 🙏 The old kettle drum hollow (acoustically bad) fire place was removed and a new brick fire place installed by our partner fire place experts 🔥 This room now sounds and looks absolutely epic 😍 Completely immersive with thunderous articulate and controlled bass no matter the volume. We are extremely proud to have delivered this project with our partners on all counts 😊

Cinehome & SeriouslyCinema are proud to announce that we are hosting an open day at Habitech Limited in Basingstoke, Friday 10th April 2026. 10am - 2pm.

Habitech Limited are UK Distributors for Storm Audio, M&K Sound, JVC Projection, Wisdom Audio, MadVR, Sonance, Christie Projection and many more class-leading brands.

Guests will be able to experience:

The M&K Sound, Storm Audio & JVC Cinema
The Wisdom Experience Room
The Wisdom Audio Cinema, including Christie Projection
The Sonance Experience
Artnovion Acoustic Treatments

There will be introductions, presentations, demonstrations and Q+A sessions led by:
