Safomasi create illustrative novelty hand printed home textiles and accessories inspired by their travels to different parts of the world. Born from a love of travel, colour and beautiful things, they distill personal travel stories from different regions into playful, figurative prints that people to feel a connection to, so the scenes in their patterns seem exotic to some and familiar to others. They aim to make products with a soul and a story that are treasured for life and bring a small part of their colourful world into your home. Founded in December 2013 by British - Indian couple Sarah Fotheringham and Maninder Singh their studio is based in New Delhi, India, although they like to jet off as often as possible to hunt for new design inspiration!

Updates from our weavers - matching dyed yarns to swatches of our Green Victoria and Pink & Orange Ladder runners 🧶🎨

We’re excited to have a new runner design in the works, fingers crossed we’ll see the first samples very soon!

Most of our rugs are handwoven to order with a lead time of 10-14 weeks, so if you’re looking for delivery by the end of the year… don’t delay and place your order today! 😉

We’ve done quite a few trade shows over the years - in London, Paris and New York - so with trade show season upon us again, we thought we’d have a little look back…

The landscape has changed quite a bit since we started, and one of the shows exhibited at three times doesn’t even exist anymore!

But our focus has changed too. We used to be all about finding stockists, and as our product range has evolved, that has shifted towards making connections with Interior Designers and the trade.

Shows are a lot of fun, but also a lot of hard work, time and money. And when you’re exhibiting, you often miss out on seeing everything else!

So while we’re not exhibiting this year, we’re happy to enjoy being inspired instead. We’ll be around Focus and LDF on Thursday - say hello if you see us!
