Queen Elizabeth II

A monarch at such a young age, thrust into a role so huge, so demanding of duty before self. Stoic, dignified, a mother, a grandmother and loved and loving.
She has always been there throughout our lives, and will be very fondly remembered by so many. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time.

Super excited to receive a new delivery of Summer Birds mugs from Jana at Gilliflower Pottery this weekend. Made by hand, just a few miles from St Ives, Jana uses locally sourced Cornish clay and unique glazes to create a range of mugs, serving platters, bowls and vases.

Godrevy Lighthouse by Lucy Davies, a fabulous painting of one our favourite places in Cornwall. Walking from Gwithian towards Godrevy and onwards to the St Agnes coastline is always breathtaking. I think this one evokes all of those times we've walked that path through rain and summer sunshine. Absolutely wonderful.
