The majority of glass artist and designer Fi Kilpatrick's work comes from commissioned architectural glass pieces for private and public spaces. Fi uses stained glass and kiln formed glass to create fresh innovative designs - from room dividers or fireplace screens to backgammon boards or windows, as well as limited production kiln formed glass bowls and landscapes and figure studies. Techniques used include painting, staining, etching, fusing and kiln forming. All pieces are designed individually to suit the client’s particular needs. If you would like to learn the art of stained or fused glass, Fi holds both Fused Glass classes and Stained Glass classes monthly from her studio in St Just-in-Penwith, between Penzance and St Ives, on the Land’s End peninsula of west Cornwall.
