Took it from a basic 7-segment display to a full TFT upgrade.
Now it boots with a custom animation while the ESP32 connects to WiFi, syncs data in the background, and then loads a live UI with logo, signal strength, and real-time stats.
All in all nice maple box!
Prototype phase… and yes, I like making my life difficult.

The full build is finally here 👀

What started as a few pieces of maple, some electronics and an idea has turned into a working follower tracker 🪵⚙️📈

This project pushed me well outside my comfort zone at times, but that’s part of the fun.

Thanks to everyone who followed along with the build and tried to guess what it was 😅

Now let’s see if we can get that 5th digit working… 😉

A little project I’ve been working on for the last few weeks.

A follower tracker built into a maple box, mixing CNC work, electronics and a fair bit of learning along the way 🪵⚙️

The display has made it to 4 digits… now I need your help testing the 5th one 😅📈

A bit of soldering today ⚙️😅

Definitely not my strongest skill, but sometimes you’ve just got to get stuck in. Needed to get this part done to bring the project together.

Quick one on the M1 dust extraction from TwoTrees 👀

Been using it in the workshop and honestly, really impressed with it. Good suction, keeps the mess down, and makes a huge difference when running the CNC.

One of those things you don’t realise you need until you’ve used it 😅🪵⚙️

Adding threaded inserts so the box can be closed with tiny screws ⚙️
