JOIN OUR TEAM ā€“ PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICES ADVISOR

Weā€™re looking for someone friendly, organised and competent to join our team at Allen Valley The Fire Place, based in our showroom at St Teath.

Monday & Thursday
9am ā€“ 1pm
8 hours per week

The role will involve speaking to customers, arranging appointments and managing our engineersā€™ jobs through our online diary system. Computer experience would therefore be preferable.

Good local knowledge is really important, as youā€™ll be helping to plan our engineersā€™ days and group jobs together in the same areas, making their routes as efficient as possible.

Weā€™d love to hear from you if you:

* Have excellent knowledge of the local area
* Are confident using computers and online systems
* Are friendly and confident speaking to customers on the phone
* Are organised and have good attention to detail
* Can think logically when planning appointments and routes
* Are reliable and happy working as part of a small team

Full training will be given on our diary system and how we organise our bookings.

JOIN OUR TEAM - Trainee Solid Fuel Engineer

We are looking for a Trainee Solid Fuel Engineer to join our team.

You donā€™t need any previous experience in the industry as full training will be given. Weā€™re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, practical, happy to work as part of a team and, most importantly, willing to learn.

Youā€™ll be working alongside our experienced engineers and learning all aspects of the job, including:

ā€¢ Installing wood-burning stoves
ā€¢ Chimney and flue work
ā€¢ Chimney sweeping
ā€¢ Servicing and maintaining stoves
ā€¢ Fault finding and remedial work
ā€¢ Using tools and equipment safely
ā€¢ Working in customersā€™ homes and properties
