I’ve switched around the shop a bit so that I can work on my jewellery making out the front when it’s quiet.

Silver has got so expensive lately that lots of jewellers are experimenting with different materials, especially when trying ideas out but also in their final pieces.

Copper is the go-to material for anyone learning to use a jewellers saw - not as risky as making mistakes on silver and it's still very wearable with a lovely colour and tone when polished.

My Make a Copper Pendant workshop is next Wednesday if you'd like to learn the technique of 'piercing' (cutting metal with a jewellers saw). It's one of my favourite parts of jewellery making so I can't wait to teach it!

Make and take home a lovely shiny 5mm wide sterling silver ring, stamped or textured to make it uniquely your design.

In this session you’ll make your own ring using sterling silver. You’ll learn to measure, cut and prepare it for soldering, then have a go at the soldering! No experience necessary - just come along and be creative!
