Surfacephilia is a surface design studio that creates luxurious bohemian patterns for the interiors and homeware market. The elaborate designs are built up using tactile layers of hand drawn illustration, painting and collage. As well as being open to commission work, Surfacephilia's well critiqued debut collection 'NAVAJO' spans across a range of digitally printed wallpapers, luxury feather filled cushions, bone china and greeting cards, all manufactured here in the UK, promising the highest of qualities. Last week I the absolute pleasure of attending the opening night of The Turner Prize 2026 at

It was such a privilege to be a part of the celebrations, and amazing to see this prestigious event coming to Teesside. The works on display were as beautifully crafted as they were immersive in presentation, and thought provoking in their storytelling. A second visit is pending minus the free fizz.

Fabulous to see so many friends, and familiar faces old and new. Well done to all those locally involved! What an achievement for the area 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

…is one of seven designs within The Studio Collection. The design has been created by hand, using marbling techniques with the most beautiful forms being selected to feature within the wallpaper. The design has been pieced together to resemble textured, quarried slabs of Italian marble, which has helped to inspire its name, Issorie.

One of seven designs from the Studio Collection. Issorie features beautiful organic marble patterns, laid into rectangular shapes to resemble over sized slabs of natural marble stone. Printed on to a subtle and delicate pearlescent paper for a luxe finish to the design.
