Job completed last week,for a client I've done many jobs for now
A staircase and landings job. Walls had paper on them, which the client stripped (thank you 😁), walls were machine sanded, first coated and then all filling was carried out, another 2 coats of Dulux trade diamond matt in buttercup white followed, with any bits of filling missed before been filled and sanded in between coats. Ceilings were newly plastered, so a mist coat applied, then finished with 2 full coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white. Ceiling above stairs had been lowered, before current client bought the house, with chip board 😭😭, so boards were sanded and lined with wall rock before been given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white. All woodwork was sanded/prepped and given a undercoat of Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat /primer followed by 2 coats of Scuff X Satin in super white, sanded again in between coats 😁😁

A few pics of a day time job carried out, yes I work day and evenings 😂😂😂😂.

Job was in kilbarchan.
Kitchem and dining room, all ceilings and walls were newly plastered, not very well to be honest, so once they had all been mist coated, any filling and machine sanding was done. Ceilings were finished with 2 full coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white, and walls finished with 2 full coats of Dulux Heritage in chosen colour,watched to a farrow and ball colour. All woodwork was newly fitted too, so any nail holes filled, caulked and given a coat of undercoat followed by 2 coats of Scuff X Satin in super white.

Hallway/stairs and landings.

Ceilings sanded and prepped and given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white. All walls sanded, filled, sanded and prepped and given 2 coats of Dulux Heritage in chosen colour, matched to a farrow and ball colour. All door frames/skirting and hand rails sanded/prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Dulux trade diamond satin in a colour, matched to a farrow and ball colour. Spindles on bannister sanded/prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Dulux trade diamond satin in chosen colour, matched to farrow and ball. Doors upstairs sanded/prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white. Handrails on bannister were finished with 2 coats of polyvibe decorators varnish to add extra durability.

1 wall in living room, which was newly plastered, sealed and blended in to other walls, coving was tidied up. And skirting was sanded/prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white.

Another happy customer, with more work booked in for future

Second phase of my second home complete.

That's the second corridor finished. 😰😰

Just the exact same materials used on the second corridor as the first corridor, the ceilings finished with 3 coats of armstead matt in white, top section of walls finished with Caparol amphibolin in daffodil yellow 3 coats, bottom section finished in chosen colour in Caparol amphibolin 3 coats ,all white woodwork finished in Johnstones Aqua guard gloss in Brilliant white, after a under coat of Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat. All the usual prep, filling/sanding etc etc, carried out.

The last pic is the last area to get started next week😰😰😰

Latest jobs completed, first is one in Dunure.
A dining room and a bathroom. Dining room had a leak from a pipe in bathroom, so all existing wallpaper was stripped off, then walls were machine sanded, with any cracks and holes filled, stains had a stain block applied. Ceiling and coving was prepped and a few cracks filled and sanded then 2 coats of Dulux trade Vinyl matt in chosen colour applied. Walls then had the chosen wallpaper applied, once all prepped
Bathroom. Had a bit of damp/condensation issue, and a leak from roof, ceiling wiped down after having mould killer applied, then a coat of Zinnser bin to block any stains. 1 wall, had a coat zinsser bin applied, then a themal insulation sheet applied, then finished with a wallrock lining paper. All other walls and ceiling, filled and sanded. Once all that was done, walls and ceiling had 2 coats of Dulux trade bathroom and kitchen eggshell in chosen color. All panelling was sanded/prepped and given a coat of Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat /primer followed by 2 coats of Dulux Heritage eggshell in chosen colour. To finish all woodwork had 2 coats of polyvine to offer a bit more protection.

Next job was a living room, ceiling was newly plastered, so given a mist coat followed by 2 full coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white, all walls filled/prepped and sanded and given 2 3 coats of good home tough and durable in chosen colour. All woodwork was sanded/prepped and given a undercoat in Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat /primer followed by 2 coats of Scuff X Satin in super white, then finished with chosen wall paper on feature wall. Also had a wee landseal supervising on this job 🤣🤣

A couple of rooms finished that I've been at over the past couple of weeks, not been there the full 2 weeks though 🤣. First one completed was the livingroom, the cornice had green and red painted on to pick out certain parts, but it wasn't to clients taste, so the cornice and ceiling was prepped, and given 3 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white, then the newly plastered walls were prepped, sealed with a mist coat then any filling and sanding done then finished with 2 full coats of Dulux trade diamond matt in chosen colour, couldn't get my usual paint on this room as there was a shortage and hold up in supplies with Dulux, then all woodwork was sanded and prepped, given a coat of Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat /primer followed by 2 coats of Scuff X Satin in super white. The second room was the dining room, which basically had all the same preparation work done, and finished with except same materials, except I managed to get Dulux Heritage, my usual paint for the walls. 🤣🤣🤣

A few feature walls wallpapered over past wee while. Some are good wallpapers, some are not and price doesn't always reflect that. Most papers I work with are around the 25/35 per roll mark, but recently did a wallpaper of over 350,and it was terrible
