My kitchen looks like a playing field. One area for making vinegar, one for making syrup and jam. One area for macarons and one for making chocolate.
BUT..... I'm happy and excited because all this hard work is for the bank holiday weekend at the Grainthorpe Festival of Art from 10am to 5pm at the Hall, Barn and Church, LN117RJ.

The first batch of blackberry vinegar was bottled today.
After weeks of infusion, it is now ready for sale.
This time I have added less sugar at the request of some customers who need to be careful with sugar.
I love to drizzle it over my salad like a glaze.
A new batch with the old recipe (more sugar) is already in works.
The benefits of these small, hard to pick berries - painful thorns, they have a kinship with stingy nettles, that nestle in your garden where you don't want them is:
Blackberries contain a variety of nutrients, but are a particularly good source of fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese and low in calories but high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

On sale Saturday 3rd at Marshchapel Saturday Market.

Creamy cherry plum vinegar is one of the best ingredients for a salad. Since it is sweet and made with white wine vinegar it is true delicacy and can be combine with fruits and vegetables!
Try some (few drops) of this subtle acidity and sweet fruity and spices taste vinegar.
You can sprinkle it on the top of pork steaks, add to sauces, fruits, stews, and of course drizzle over your salad. Another perfect option to serve it is with a cheese course at the end of a meal. Your palates will enjoy in full.

I am very pleased with my second attempt at making nettle vinegar.
The first attempt didn't really have a pleasant smell and flavour. Now I've added spices and it's delicious.
Tomorrow I have lots of vinegar, jam and chutney for selling at the May day, vintage farming machinery display, Grainthorpe, Village Hall, LN11 7JR from 10am - 4pm.
