Come and join us on Saturday 7th November 1pm-4pm to create miniature pieces of circular art. No experience necessary - beginners welcome. £30 p.p.

PAPER ARTSY:
Artist Trading Coins were founded in 2018 by Joanne Hodges, they are a 2.5-inch circle of mixed media art, they are similar to Artist Trading cards but they are 2.5-inch circles. You create a small piece of art to trade with other artists and crafters. They are to be traded, never sold. The most important thing about making your coin is to make it in your own style so it can be very simple or very intricate, this is a craft for all abilities.

You can use anything to make your Artist Trading Coins. Paper, card, stencilling, washi tape, rub-ons, stamping, ink, paint, napkins and anything you like to work with.

On Saturday 7th November we are bringing a lovely workshop using circular Artist Trading Cards. Relax, let your imagination run wild and be creative.

The are circular artist trading cards—commonly known as Artist Trading Coins (ATCs)—are small, round miniature artworks created specifically for trading rather than selling.

Key Characteristics
• Shape and Size: Unlike traditional rectangular Artist Trading Cards (which measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches like a baseball card), circular artist trading coins are typically 2.5 inches in diameter. (Smaller round variations, like 1-inch circles, are sometimes called "Rinchies").
• The Trading Rule: True to the core ethos of traditional ATCs, these circular pieces are meant to be traded or given away, never sold. (Round art pieces sold commercially are generally classified as ACEOs or custom art pieces).
• Origin: The circular coin variation gained widespread popularity around 2018 (founded by artist Joanne Hodges) as a fun, tactile twist on the classic rectangular card format.

In the workshop you will be given 5 coins to decorate with backing papers, paint, stencils, ephemera, and stamps.

You can bring your own stamps and papers if you have ideas in mind.

Come and join us every 2nd Monday in the month for the Sewing Club.

Lovely people, great chat, brew included all for £5 per person.

Bring your sewing machine, knitting, hand sewing or crochet and finish that project you started a while ago. No pressure - you dont even need to bring anything with you, just come and be with like minded people. Projects on hand each week in case you want to try something different or at a loss of what to try next.

You've nothing to loose, but everything to gain.

The last time we ran this lovely workshop the attendees LOVED it! Everyone had no eperience of free motion......
"Huge thanks to the endlessly patient and talented Sue from for an inspiring and very informative free motion embroidery workshop today. I've been dying to get to grips with this versatile technique and this workshop has done just that! Step by step from first dodgy squiggles to a complete piece on a beautiful piece of painted fabric. Very excited to get going with some wet felted pieces and add sari silks and lashings of stitches!"

Parents who bought acrylic paint once and never opened it, this is your stone painting start.

You don't need fancy supplies or artistic talent. Just smooth stones, those paints gathering dust, and a quiet Thursday afternoon.

In the workshop you will:

Get smooth pebbles dried out
Start with simple designs - no brush skills needed
Layer colours
Try basic patterns: stripes, swirls, or mandalas
Seal them

The stones don't judge. There's no wrong way to paint them.

You might surprise yourself with what appears when you just start.

I run stone painting sessions where we take this slow, support each other, and create something beautiful together. No pressure, just gentle creativity.
