I'm always the first to say I'm not a skilled tradie, I'm a handyman, jack of all trades, master of none. But sometimes (more often that I ever expected) I'm shocked at standards of a minority of tradies, and the how much some people pay.

I don't always get things right, and sometimes my standards sit heavy with me even though I know its good value and the customer is happy.

I enjoyed my days in Glastonbury this week, fixing those little niggles (that are not so little)...
🙏 Correct toilet seat purchased (wrong fixing type purchased before)
🙏 5 min grout tidy up (grout gaps in tiles left after toilet changed)
🙏 Holes filled and sanded on board, and edges caulked to give tidier finish
🙏 Lights swapped out for correct bathroom types
🙏 £4 vent installed to cover old extractor
🙏 Bath panel replaced and framework installed behind to prevent flex
🙏 Worktops sanded and treated with Osmo

My van is much like my brain, a mess but likes a bloody good tidy up every now and then. Its amazing what can be found!!

Update on Cheddar. Don't go there!! After sitting for 20mins on the road in from Axbridge direction, I've decided the most positive option is to get to my next customer via Burrington Coombe and the Cheddar Gorge, enjoying the views on the way (and wasting fuel and labour time 😅)
