Another bumble bumbled into the shed today, but she was antsy so I let her fly away without a flower pit stop 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Found some other tiny treasures…. Also a beautiful green shine beetle and a 27 spot yellow ladybird 🐞 but they were camera shy 🙈.

✨ A little help to bring some Christmas magic ✨

Today we want to shine a light on Scarborough Hospital Children’s Ward.
It’s a small ward in a small town, and sadly it can often be forgotten — but the children spending Christmas there deserve just as much magic as anywhere else.

We’ve been speaking directly with a member of staff from the ward, and they’ve been honest in saying that they don’t have enough gifts for the children on Christmas Day. The staff don’t want anything for themselves — all they want is to see the children smile and feel some joy on what can be a really hard day.

So we’ve set up an Amazon wish list, with items the ward have said would really help — both gifts for the children and bits they can use on the ward. Every single item on the list has been chosen with love and purpose.

Archie is fully on board with this. He knows how amazing this community is and wanted to use his page to help other children who are spending Christmas in hospital, just like him.

We’ll be sharing this appeal today and tomorrow, and if you’re able to help — even just one small item — you’ll be helping to create a magical Christmas morning for a child who really needs it.
