A little bit about Cloisonnè...

Cloisonnè is an ancient decorative art in which intricately shaped wirework is applied to a base creating a design. Coloured, fine sand is carefully applied to each section and blended to create a stunning effect. Once the colours are set, a layer of clear resin is applied to protect and enhance the artwork beneath. This detailed craftsmanship results in a unique, elegant, handmade piece.
