Field and Bloom Grower and seller of cut flowers and foliage Field and Bloom is a cut flower growing business based on a farm about 12miles south of York.

The business was set up by Jan Falkingham in Spring 2015. Flowers and foliage are sold by the stem or as mixed buckets of flowers for DIY. Jan can also provide informal hand tied bouquets for the home or a present. The aim of the business is to consistently provide a wide choice of British grown cut flowers for florists and individuals. A short film with bird song soundtrack of yesterday’s flowers delivered to and . I’m lucky there was no tractor noise or reversing beep or shouting as the farm yard is pretty busy at the moment getting ready for harvest. Flower harvest however is a daily thing from April to September.
As some of you know I normally supply florists with flowers through but this year what with COVID and one thing and another, large wedding and event orders have been cancelled so I’m supplying florists for bouquets and funerals as Field and Bloom while orders are smaller with help from flowers by season growers. So we are still collaborating. We are not sure that Flowers by Season will be back this year but we are planning for next year so my fingers are crossed.
