The word "teacher" used to sound scary, but after two successful cushion-making sessions with her initial "guinea pigs," Karen is gaining major confidence! 🎉

Plus, starting in October, we’re offering sewing lessons with a lovely tutor who can teach everything from basic machine setup to dressmaking.

Button and bead overload! 😲
A big thank you to Mandy at Bright Arts CIC for donating this (what feels like) an infinite amount of buttons, beads and some lovely vintage wool!Head over to her page to give her new account some love and local support ❤️

While Karen gets them all sorted into order we’d love to know what you think... if we hosted a class using buttons and beads, what would you like to do or make with them?

Making button & bead flower bouquets or stems?
Creating framed button art?
Upcycling old clothes or making jewelry?

🎉CROCHET CLASSES AT THE FABRIC HUB🎉

We're pleased to bring back our crochet classes with Fiona! From learning the basics, help with reading patterns or advice while following the Stylecraft CAL, this class is for all!

Limited spaces (4 people each week), so booking is essential! When booking, please let us know:

• Whether you're left-handed or right-handed

• What you’d like to focus on (learning the basics, pattern reading, or working on a CAL project)

📅 Thursday 10th September, 17th Sept, 24th Sept, 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 15th Oct
🕕 6pm-8pm
💰 £8 each week (bonus! 1 crochet hook for first class, and vintage yarn to practice!)
