After shaping your piece, this is the stage where you can really make it your own - adding colour, texture, and those little details that turn it from a pot into your pot.⁠

From soft, subtle tones to bold, expressive finishes… no two pieces ever come out the same (and that’s the magic of it).⁠

It’s also one of the most exciting moments - choosing your glaze, imagining how it will transform in the kiln, and then waiting for that reveal 👀⁠

Ever wondered what happens to your pot after class? 👀⁠
⁠
Once you’ve shaped your piece, the journey isn’t quite finished yet. Behind the scenes, there’s a little more clay magic to come…⁠
⁠
First, your pot dries slowly until it reaches the perfect stage for firing.⁠
Then it’s carefully loaded into the kiln for its first firing (the bisque), which turns fragile clay into durable ceramic.⁠
⁠
Next comes one of our favourite stages: glazing. This is where colour, texture and shine are added to bring your piece to life.⁠
⁠
Finally, it goes back into the kiln for the final firing, where the glaze melts and transforms into that beautiful finished surface.⁠
⁠
A few weeks later… your piece is ready to collect and take pride of place in its new home ✨⁠

We brought pottery to the office… ☕ ⁠

We recently teamed up with the team at Kenwood/De’Longhi for a hands-on corporate pottery workshop - and yes, everyone made their own coffee cups (very on brand 👀).⁠
⁠
It was such a great way to step away from screens, get creative together, and do something completely different as a team. No experience needed - just a willingness to get stuck in.⁠
⁠
The result?⁠
⁠
Lots of laughs, a few wonky cups (the best kind), and a team leaving feeling proud of something they’d actually made themselves!⁠
⁠
