Going through my offcuts pile I found these two boards of figured Ash plus an offcut of Walnut, so I’m thinking of a nice dovetailed box for my next project, I haven’t cut dovetail joints in around 30 years so this could go very wrong! I oiled a small piece of the Ash to highlight the figure, it looks good so I hope my work can do it justice 🤞🏼

Finished the highly figured Ash shallow bowl today. Beautiful piece of wood this, it really catches the light at different angles and has some stunning features and grain patterns! Measuring 350mm across and 45mm deep it will make a stunning and unique centre piece of any table or sideboard. Asking price is £120 plus postage. Please feel free to message me for further details. I’ll post a video next to show off how the figuring in the grain catches the light.
