English elm, months in the making, and this is my favourite bit. The Odie’s Oil goes on and the grain finally shows what it’s been hiding all along.

They say size doesn’t matter, but I’m not so sure 😏

A whole roast chicken, four Yorkshires, roasties and broccoli, all on one of my large serving boards. With room to spare.

My friend sent me this and it was such a delight to see. This is exactly what I make them for: the centre of the table, the Sunday roast, people gathered round it.
Each board I make is cut, shaped and finished by hand in my Sevenoaks workshop, so no two are the same.

This was Craft Fair Organiser at Hever Castle on day one. By day four it looked rather different.

35 serving boards, three unique coffee tables, five chopping boards, most of the coaster sets and a handful of odd small pieces, all gone to new homes.

The website’s looking sparse right now because the stock is currently in other people’s houses, which is honestly the better problem to have. Commissions are open if you saw something and missed it. More stock (and more fairs) coming soon.

Meet “Mermaid.”

Burr elm lives edge coffee table, 105cm across at its widest. That swirling, clustered figuring covers every inch of the surface. No two patches the same. The teal resin fill in the natural void catches the light like water.

This one took a while. It was worth it.

This landed in my inbox this afternoon and it made my day. ☀️

A customer who picked up two boards at this morning sent me this photo — they’re already living in his flat, styled between vintage suitcases and ceramics like they’ve always been there.

His words: “Truly things of beauty.”

This is exactly why I make what I make. Not just something to put food on. Something that earns a permanent spot in your home and still stops people in their tracks.
