It started with my mum’s cancer diagnosis.

Suddenly, I found myself down a rabbit hole I never expected to enter—reading ingredient labels, researching what goes into the food we eat and the products we put on our skin.

What began as curiosity became a way of life.

I started making my own peanut butter.
Then butter.
Then bread.
Kimchi.
Chutneys.
Oils.
Growing vegetables.
Even skincare.

Not because I was chasing perfection, but because I wanted to understand. To simplify. To know exactly what was in the things my family used every day.

Somewhere between sourdough starters, fermenting jars, and homemade balms, I realised this wasn’t just a hobby—it was a passion.
