I apologise for having a quiet online presence but I been a tad preoccupied with a huge challenge……Snowdon!!
WE DID IT!! 🩷⛰️
On Saturday 16th May 2026, Sarah Muir, Phoebe Whelan and Harry Whelan, and an amazing group from the charity ifonlycharity, together with the team from Mitie, took on the challenge of climbing Snowdon, the UK’s 3rd highest mountain.
The weather started off reasonable, but halfway up we climbed into thick cloud and were met with heavy rain, strong winds, and freezing temperatures. The Llanberis Path was packed with hundreds of walkers and competitors taking part in the UTS Ultra Marathons, making the climb even more challenging.
Despite the conditions, we all reached the summit soaked through, freezing cold, and battling heavy fog with very little visibility. After a quick stop for photos, food, and a much-needed change of socks, we began the long descent back down the mountain.
The weather continued to test us, with relentless rain and near-zero visibility in places, but as determined trauma survivors we kept each other going and eventually made it safely back to the bottom — cold, exhausted, sore, but incredibly proud of what we had achieved together.
Thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we have now raised over £1,000, while the group has collectively raised an amazing £7,600+ so far for IF Only ❤️
Thank you all so much for supporting such an important charity and for every donation, message, and word of encouragement along the way. It truly means the world to us.
We’ll keep the page open for a few more days for anyone who would still like to donate.
Thank you again — from the bottom of our hearts to the top of Snowdon 🩷🩷
