A small online store set up and run by myself, Leanne. I stock items for the home which include Candle Holders, Pot planters / Vases, Plaques / Signs, Oil Burners, Cups / Mugs, Door Stops, Item’s for the Garden and much more. I also produce Personalised Framed Prints and Pebble Art Pictures which are perfect gifts for various occasions. So, a little bit about me…I live in S6 with my husband and 2
boys and when I’m not doing Mum stuff, cleaning the house or going to work I throw myself into Doodles and I absolutely love it. For as long as I remember I have always wanted to have my own little business but never quite had the courage or idea’s to actually do it. Like a lot of people, lockdown gave me a lot of time to think and I just thought ‘just go for it’ and so here I am. Once I got in to buying the stock, setting up my own website, which I can proudly say I did all by myself there was no turning back. Getting stockists on board has made this little journey so much fun, although everything I get into purchase, I want to keep for myself. I chose Homeware because personally I love having ornaments and trinkets around the house to make it feel homely. I choose stock that I feel will suit most homes and most importantly to me, I carefully price my items to make them very affordable. I’ve always been quite a crafty person and so alongside the homeware I began producing personalised prints and pebble art for gifts or for your own home. I love doing these and getting pictures sent of them up on walls of customers. I try and keep postage costs as low as possible as I know this can put people off buying but I can promise that I will only charge whatever the courier charges me. Delivery is FREE to anyone in the S6 area as I will personally deliver all items withing 48 hours of all orders placed. Finally, Why the name Doodles? Well, I wanted a name that was a little different but also meaningful, I tried to incorporate my kids name or our surname but it just didn’t flow. Then it came to me, my Grandad who has sadly passed away had nicknames for all his grandchildren and you guessed it, mine was Doodle. So really it just couldn’t be named anything else.
