Half way through my latest elephant painting and I am obsessed🥰

Details and more grey to be added so the colours will eventually become slightly muted and more defined but her at this stage is giving magical😍

I didn’t feel like a fully grey elephant like i’ve done in the past would match the collection so just like the rest I wanted to add accents of colour, think she could compete with the chimp as my favourite🧐 Can’t wait to see her finished but really enjoying the process on this one🤞🥰

“WILD WITHIN 🦁”

Finally finished🫠

A painting about strength, instinct and the part of us that refuses to be tamed.

Deep blues, fiery golds, expressive marks and a LOT of layers. 🎨

He definitely took me on a journey, one i could have given up with a few times 🫠😂 Im never fully satisfied when ive finished a painting as i can always see tweaks and improvements that could be made which is why I end up overworking the painting but for now i leave him here!😂🙏

FINALLY finished this painting, defiantly the most challenging and there’s so much room for improvement, it’s always difficult when your not fully satisfied with the end result, birds have never been something i have been comfortable painting but im happy with the colours👍
