Wonderful room completed for a repeat client at a care home in Garforth.
We specified Polyflor Ltd versailes lvt flooring, a geometric parquet pattern which adds a calm and quiet warmth along with the carefully chosen decor.
I think this all adds to such a welcoming and practical space and am sure will be such a hub for catching up with the residents over a coffee or 2.
We used ARDEX UK screeds and adhesives for a confident install.

We recently completed a project that came with its fair share of challenges.

An anhydrite screed was poured over underfloor heating, with existing concrete substrates on the remaining floors also upgraded to include UFH. The anhydrite screed required mechanical grinding to remove laitance, followed by the application of an Ardex resin primer and CL+ latex throughout to ensure optimal adhesion.

We then installed 130m2 of Polyflor Expona Parquet blocks using high-performance Ardex AF195, delivering a durable and visually striking finish.

The comprehensive floor fit-out project, encompassing screed and preparation work through the installation of Karndean parquet blocks, carpet, and new vinyl flooring in the kitchen and restroom areas, has been successfully completed.
Existing floors in the Karndean areas required leveling to approximately 25-30mm before the application of a topical compound.
We used Ardex K40HB and CL screeds
Full ardex adhesives used.
Polysafe safety floors
We are pleased with the final result, which exhibits a high-quality finish, as the photos speak for themselves.

The existing wood flooring was removed and replaced with 20mm unfinished oak, installed using a secret nailing method, then sanded and sealed.
The limestone hearth was refreshed through sanding and sealing to eliminate any contaminants.
The resulting aesthetic is fresh and contemporary.

Two clients required floor preparation and screeding to ensure the successful installation of their final floor finishes. Both floors initially necessitated grinding to remove contaminants and old screed. One floor received a moisture suppressant treatment due to a lower moisture reading, while the other received an epoxy damp proof membrane (DPM) application due to the absence of a structural DPM. Ardex PSRS resin was used to strengthen both substrates. The final screed coat consisted of Ardex CL+ on one floor and Ardex NA on the other. This comprehensive preparation provides the clients with confidence in the long-term performance and integrity of their floors.
