Our limited edition George Wostenholm Barlow Pocket Knife made especially to celebrate 400 Years of The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire.

Crocus polished clip point blade. Nickel-silver bolster marked with 1624-2024 emblem. Stabilised birch burr handle scales in Cutlers' Company green.

Handmade in Sheffield using traditional skills passed down through the generations.

Individually numbered and supplied with a certificate.

As with all our knives, this celebratory knife is handmade using fine traditional skills passed down through the generations, from Sheffield knife maker to Sheffield knife maker.
The bolster is nickel silver, marked proudly with The Company of Cutlersā€™ 400 Year Anniversary emblem - the crossed swords from the Companyā€™s Coat of Arms. The handle scales are stunning stabilised birch burr in Cutlers Company green and each knife in this Special Edition is individually numbered.

The mark of The Star and Maltese Cross was originally registered in March 1682 by a Benjamin Rich. However, it is with Rodgers that this mark will forever by associated and they registered it in 1764.

Such is the trademark's renown that over the years, there have been a great many instances of unscrupulous companies copying the iconic design and applying it to inferior products.
