Sewcial Sewing Sewing Lessons | Fabric Shop | Haberdashery | Quilting | Patchwork | Yorkshire I've been sewing now for over 50 years and teaching for 9.

Teaching sewing has always been a dream and to have that dream come true has made me very proud. As long as it can be sewn I can teach it, my passion is dressmaking, but I love patchwork and quilting. Something I never show is the lingerie I make! I now teach every Tuesday night (except some school holidays) at St John's Community Centre, Pen*stone. This is for every ability and type of sewing. In October 2023, I proudly opened a fabric and haberdashery shop here on the heart of Pen*stone.

Have your tried Aurifil thread?
You need to, it is so smooth and strong. Great for both hand and machine sewing.
We now have lots more colours, picked to compliment your winter and Christmas makes.

It's finished Friday. What did you finish this week.

I want to welcome you to two new members of staff here at Sewcial Sewing. Boo and Bow, our cheeky friendly ghosts.

They were such a quick and fun make. We have plenty of Sherpa fur here in Pen*stone if you want to make your own.

Yet again a brilliant set of student and customer makes this month. Many of you are making Christmas presents so I have not included those, but they are impressive as well.
I particularly like Ronnie's bandana, and Donna learnt to use the alphabet feature on her sewing machine to sew his name on it.
Amanda needs to be justly proud of her Polar Express quilt, plus we have plenty of Luna Lapins joining the Pen*stone community.
