College circa 2020. Weird times. Managed to get a merit midway thru a pandemic and living in a care home. It really pushed my boundaries within textiles and I really did well considering my circumstances. Other than that yeah wouldn't go back. Some cool stuff from this era tho!

TW TAXIDERMY/PET DEATH.
I've always been interested in taxidermy and for many years i owned different rodents as pets. Mostly rats and occasionally hamsters. Unfortunately these lil critters are known for having very short lifespans. Merry and Pippin (pictured now as preserved bones) were my first ever pair of rats and very much loved. When they passed we buried them both in a plant pot and I dug them out a few years later to harvest their bones. I now have 4 small jars of various bones and a lil mount that I did in their memory. Toast was unfortunately a less successful story of preservation. I knew I wanted to taxidermy him once he passed so I researched into the best (and cheapest) way to do it. I bought the tools gave it a go and it was incredibly cursed. He looked nothing like that alive but at least I have him in a lil jar with a tiny nerd gun forever ✨

Wanted my first post to be kinda special so here's one dedicated to the amazing summer show at by titled fake fans! I was involved via the creative producers project which involves care leavers in creative fields which I'm really passionate about. We were asked to create trading cards and I created 'Hundrew kate' a nightmarish Mish mash of alt right incel Andrew Tate and a 'hun' type girlboss character. We painted small Pokémon celebi knock-off figures which came out super cute when displayed together. I also had a lil cameo in a video explaining the project ✨ super amazing exhibition thank you so much to George and the team for making it happen!
