Budding Picassos is a paint your own pottery studio and craft café. In addition to pottery painting we also offer decopatch and build your own bears. We have a separate party room which is available for group bookings. We also offer a range of good quality coffees, hot chocolates and teas and delicious cakes.

Calling all NCT groups, baby groups, antenatal friends and new-mum friendship groups! 👶🏼☕️❤️
This October & November, we’re opening up selected Mondays & Fridays especially for group baby-print bookings at Budding Picassos.
Get your group together, grab a coffee, have a catch-up and let us help you create some gorgeous Christmas keepsakes and presents for grandparents, family… and of course yourselves! 🎁
This is aimed at groups of between 3 and 12 babies

👣 Baby footprint pottery
We take all the little prints and complete all artwork and personalisation for you, so you can relax with a coffee while we do the messy bit! ☕️
And we’re very baby-friendly:

🍼 Breastfeeding friendly
🚼 Baby-changing facilities
☕ Hot drinks & refreshments available

Group sessions are available on selected Mondays & Fridays throughout October and November.
A £10 per person non refundable deposit secures your group booking.
It’s a lovely excuse to get everyone together before Christmas — and you’ll get all those all-important Christmas presents and keepsakes ticked off the list too. 🎄❤️

BABY PRINT VOLUNTEER NEEDED - FRIDAY 4th SEPTEMBER

Do you have a baby newborn - 6 months and would be willing to volunteer you little ones feet for half an hour to make some studio print samples? In return we will make you a complimentary print bauble as a thank you! If you’d like to volunteer and are available on Friday PLEASE COMMENT BELOW with your little ones age. (So we get a good mix of ages for our samples) Feel free to tag anyone who’s had a baby this year you think may like to help us out.

We always get more volunteers than we need so we will pick a couple at random and let you know by Thursday morning

We released our full diary of September appointments last weekend and we now only have around 10ish appointments left. Don’t forget the younger your baby the better and more detailed the finished prints will be.

We are getting lots of enquiries about October and November appointments but these will be released to groups first rather than individual babies so there are always less appointments available as we closer to Christmas

So our September release of print appointments is now 60% Full. You may not be thinking about Christmas yet but baby print baubles are honestly much better done whilst your babies foot is still tiny. It may feel like it’d be a lovely Christmassy activity to do late November/December but the reality is that if you’d like us to do the artwork and writing for you they won’t be ready in time for Christmas if you leave it that late. LITTLE NOTE ABOUT OUR CHRISTMAS BABY PRINT APPOINTMENTS…

Some of the babies whose tiny footprints will be on our Christmas baubles this year haven't even been born yet. 🥹👣
That's why we don't release all of our Christmas appointments at once.
November and December availability is deliberately limited and released gradually so that babies arriving later in the year have a chance to have their first Christmas keepsakes made too.
So if your baby is already here, please don't wait until November because it feels more Christmassy.
Your baby's feet are tiny NOW.
And tiny baby feet make the most beautiful little footprint baubles. ❤️
Come now, capture those tiny toes, and we'll create the Christmas magic for you.
Later appointments and availability of particular pottery shapes cannot be guaranteed.
