Hi All

It's not long to go until our next beginners quilt class. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to start their quilting journey.

You will start by choosing the fabrics for a two colour checkboard quilt top with a border. You will also choose binding and backing fabric. We will aim to get the quilt top completed on the first day.

The second day starts with getting your quilt layered up and sewing through all of the layers. We will then attach the binding from the front and make a good start at hand sewing the back of the binding.

All materials are included in the cost of £75.00. You also have the choice of upgrading some of your fabrics to our designer ranges for an additional cost.

Managed to get the planning and handout finished yesterday for this retreat project, but it was a bit hectic, so ran out of time to make my sample. Will get that done today.

Morning all!

We hope you are enjoying the cooler weather. Who are we kidding? After weeks of complaining about the heat, we now get to complain about the rain 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My first job this morning will be finishing off the last seam on this quilt for Quilts for The Longest Day, which was started on Sunday at the making day. This one has the colours for the Royal Engineers, so it will be lovely when it's done.

More lovely tote bag panels...

These ones are Sea Breeze by Deborah Edwards for Northcott. The panels are printed on a heavy weight cotton duck. Each panel has a double sided design for the bag sides, plus co-ordinating straps and instructions for a box bottomed bag.

We've paired each panel with a choice of four co-ordinating fabrics, to allow you to make a lined bag, and also 1.5m of webbing, in case you prefer that over the printed strap.

Once again, you could choose to use your bundle to make two cushions instead.
