2/ Sumptuous deep pile Saxony in a silvery shade fitted throughout this property in north Sheffield. Downstairs the customer chose this Uniclic laminate, the only laminate click system that is fit for purpose , easy to fit creating a secure , tight fit.

When buying wooden floors that lock together I'd advise anyone to think about this most important factor. If the floor doesn't stay tightly locked together then you may as well throw your money away. The patented Uniclic system is the only way I've come across in my many years of floorlaying that is both secure and fits with ease.

Fitted a vinyl for a friend in this unusual shaped bathroom. Not a huge area in square metres but the widest dimensions of the room were considerable so the piece ordered was big and unwieldy. We cut it to size outside in the wintery rain , rolled it loosely and fed it through the upstairs window. Quite tricky!

Kitchen floors in older properties are often in quite a state, made of different levels with different materials, and this was no exception. It required screeding, and sealing before I laid ply , which was drilled plugged and screwed as well as stuck down to ensure a stable flat sub floor. The off shot kitchen was on two levels and the customer opted for retaining the mat-well.
