A lifetime ago, back in 2021, I was interviewed by Gayle from Woolswap for her YouTube channel. Little did either of us expect to ever get the opportunity to meet in person. But today, more than five years later we did just that.
It was like meeting up with an old friend and yet another reminder of the positive side of social media.
We had a lovely wander around Elizabeth Quay in Perth, before settling on somewhere for lunch. We talked and talked and talked. About how life has changed for us both over the intervening years (for the better, I hasten to add) but mostly about our fabric and yarn stash 😆
Then I jumped back on the complimentary ’Purple Cat Bus’ and headed back to my brother’s house.
Today really has been another very good day 💜 I even did a spot of sock knitting on the bus ride, being very careful not to miss my stop! 🇦🇺🦘🧶
