Green Lili Modern wall art for slow, feel-good spaces

15/06/2026

A little behind the scenes from our latest shoot at The Black House, and a sneak peek at some new pieces too 👀

Nestled into the landscape with huge windows, natural light pouring in and views in every direction, it felt like the perfect setting for our nature-inspired artwork.

It was a lot of fun. Sue .and.scandidreams was the loveliest host, lunch was a real treat, and I loved chatting to her about the story behind the house and her love of Scandi design, simplicity, and a slower way of living.

Lots more to share from this one soon.

A little fun on a Sunday. To round off our mini series with we’ve got a quick-fire round on all things art and interiors. Have a listen and let us know if you’re checkerboard or stripes.

It’s the final episode of our mini series, and we’re talking size.

Probably one of the things we get asked about most. We chat about sticking to the ‘rules’, how statement pieces are easy to move around and why smaller artwork can still have just as much impact and presence.

Honestly, we could keep talking about all things art and interiors. This is a new style of content for us so we hope you’ve enjoyed listening as much as we enjoyed making it. (and hopefully found some value along the way!)

As always, if you’ve got any questions for us, pop them in the comments. Thanks so much for following along.

We might be heading into a heatwave, but this one’s all about ice. Always Moving is one of our most loved pieces, and a favourite of mine, so here’s a bit of the story behind it.

What started out on that glacier then found its way onto canvas, it evolved so naturally as I worked on it, full of flowing movement and feeling, which I think is why it seems to sit so easily in many different homes and interiors.

Here it is, Part 3 of our mini series, and this one’s all about those forgotten spaces.

Hallways, landings… the in-between areas you move through every day, but maybe don’t think about all that much. We chat about why these spaces matter more than you think, and how artwork can bring a sense of connection as you move through your home.

Coming up in Part 4, size matters.

If you’ve got any questions about art and interiors, drop them in the comments below.

We’re back with Part 2 of our mini series, and this time we’re talking living rooms.

We chat about using art to zone different areas, spacing pieces around the room, and making a statement… in a subtle way, of course.

Part 3, coming next week, is all about those forgotten in-between spaces.

If you’ve got any questions about choosing art for your living room, let us know!

Welcome to Part 1 of our new mini series, in conversation with the lovely Rebecca from

Put the kettle on and have a listen while we chat about all things art and interiors.

In this episode, get to know us a little as we talk through our styles and inspiration, and where art comes into the design process. So, if you’re not sure where to start when it comes to artwork, or have found something you like but perhaps hesitated, this one’s for you.

Tune in next week for part 2, where we get into choosing pieces for your living room.

If you’ve got any questions or enjoy this kind of thing, drop us a comment below.

It always comes back to nature. The colours, shapes and textures, from the curve of a rock to sunlight on the mountain tops, that’s the feeling behind every piece of abstract art I create. My way of bringing it home. Today feels like a good day to appreciate it a little more.

Here’s a little insight into what we do here at Green Lili. Every artwork starts with a feeling, and it starts with nature. From the way we name each piece to the colours used, it all comes back to that. I’ve always felt calmer around nature’s earthier tones, so it makes sense to bring them home. Understated, oversized pieces to slow things down and help create a calm, considered home. Not just to look good, but to feel good too.

I’ve loved working on some smaller pieces recently, and thinking a bit differently about scale and where art sits in your home. There’s definitely a place for hanging smaller pieces above the bed or a sofa where you might expect to fill the space. And being more playful or bolder with colour choices means art doesn’t always have to be big to make an impact.
