Update on our link with our charity partner, Watermelon Sisters.
For the past few months I've been working behind the scenes with their owner, Souher, to try and get therapy sessions for Shahed who I support in Central Gaza.
They run at therapy sessions for girls and young women to escape the horrors of what they're going through, be creative, make some friends and talk with a professional councillor.
Yesterday she had her first session and she absolutely loved it, there will be more to come, but due to the constant bombing, everything in gaza is a fluid situation so it could be next week, but it could be a few weeks.
Never think there is nothing you can do in a situation that feels impossible, whatever you're passionate about, work smart and achieve it, because I've just managed to get therapy for someone vulnerable on the other side of the world during literal hell on earth, so anything is achievable if you put your mind to it ❤
