It's taken hours to report to the police and upload the images of the thieves. I have gone to Shepton Mallet police station on 5 occasions when it's supposed to be open, but it is shut. I waited an hour on 101 to speak to Avon and Somerset constabulary upon which I told them that I had been informed through fb that the culprits had been identified and their names and addresses in Bristol had been provided. As it was only yesterday that they stole in my shop and the fact that they are known, this was an opportunity to arrest and recover my property very quickly. Needless to say I have no doubt Avon and Somerset Constabulary will not deal with this quickly and that the culprits will continue to tour Somerset committing offences. I have requested to speak to a police officer but to no effect. What a state we are in, the police just record crimes but don't investigate. Those days are gone.
