Welcome to the Focal Flames page, as a new business with over 20 years background in the industry we strive to be the best fireplace installers in the west country. We are HETAS approved and fully insured and are kept up to date with the latest innovations and regulations with refreshers every few years. As a small personal business we cater for your needs, working weekends when it suits

you, while aiming to be as discreet and unobtrusive as possible by being as efficient and clean as possible, often leaving your home cleaner than it was before! As suppliers of stoves and wood burners we have many years of hands on experience with all types of makes and models, from the most tiniest to the most technically elaborate, with expert advice to help you make the right choice for your home and requirements and all at trade prices (we earn our wage from installing not supplying!). Theres nothing like sitting in front of an open fire or stove in the winter months, the warmth penetrates you to the core, the flicker and glow of the flames draws you in and you soon lose yourself within its timeless majesty. So if that hasnt sold you just ask our friends or ask your own that have wood burners, they are a great money saving, energy efficient and carbon neutral addition to any home! No problem, we can install twin wall stainless steel insulated flue systems that can run through the house providing additional heating through out or through an external wall and up the side of the house. You can pretty much stick one anywhere you like!

Fantastic ecosy ottawa eco deluxe wide from our good friends at Stove World UK installed last week in this beautiful old inglenook near Bath. The beam was heat shielded to protect it from the heat of the stove pipe, along with a new closure plate, duraflue liner and cowl. Certainly an interesting chimney stack, round red brick with spiralling flues that circled around each other. In over 20 years of installing I've never seen flues built and arranged in that way.

Another cracking ecosy hooga 5 from our good friends at Stove World UK installed last week in Glastonbury. The old fireplace was removed and the chamber widened to its maximum extents, without compromising the structural integrity of the gather and flue liners above.
The chamber was then lime rendered and the breast plaster feathered in, along with a new 20mm Brazilian honed hearth.
A hot couple of days! But a great result.

Fun little knock out in Codford near Warminster this week, ripping out the old wooden surround and back panel and lowering the tiled concrete hearth. Then widening the chamber and lime rendering the recess along with a new T piece 20mm Brazilian honed slate hearth, liner and cowl ready for the final connection and commissioning of this sexy new Mi-Fires Tinderbox Medium stove.
Good couple of days work to complete transform the old fireplace.

Fantastic Ecosy Hampton 5 on stand with rear heat shield supplied by our good friends at Stove World UK . These freestanding stoves are perfect for twinwall installations like this, the single baffle and rear heat shield means they are less likely to spill smoke when refuelling while allowing the stove to go closer to the reae wall reducing that offset down as much as possible. Look pretty dam good to!
