Prompt 11: Revisit ✨
One of the earliest pieces I wove on my first loom.
Looking back at early patterns and colour combinations and how they’ve developed over time.

Prompt 10: How it’s made ✨
Each piece begins long before it reaches the loom.
From choosing colours and yarns to planning and preparing, every stage is part of the process.
Then it’s carefully woven by hand in my Somerset studio 🤍

Prompt 8: Design details✨
This is where it all comes together, colour, texture, and structure working alongside each other.
It’s the small decisions that make the difference, and what gives each piece its own feel.

Prompt 6: Currently working on ✨
Bringing this one to life on my handwoven fabric - personalised embroidery, vibrant colours, and textures coming together.

It’s always exciting to see a design take shape, and I can’t wait to show the finished piece!

Prompt 5: Why I make ✨
Being creative has always been part of who I am, exploring colour, textures, and new ways to work with materials.
Weaving became the way I could turn that into something tangible - building patterns, working with wool, and creating pieces slowly on the loom.
I love that what I make isn’t just to look at, but to be used and bring a bit of joy into everyday life.

Prompt 4: What I make ✨
Handwoven textiles, designed to be as joyful as they are functional.
Each piece is woven on one of my looms here in Somerset, combining bold colour with traditional weaving techniques to create something truly unique.
From soft furnishings to smaller woven pieces, everything I make is crafted slowly, with care, and made to be used and loved every day.

Prompt 3: Trial & Error ✨
Not every idea works the first time.
A lot of weaving is testing things out - sampling colours, trying different yarns, adjusting tension, and seeing what actually works once it’s on the loom. Not every idea turns out the way I imagined, and some colour combinations just don’t quite work once they’re woven. Sometimes you even have to undo a section when you spot a mistake.

Sampling and experimenting are a big part of the process, and usually where the best combinations come from. Each piece teaches me something for the next one.
