Couldn't wait to show this one! Client purchased these gorgeous vintage toile de jouy curtains with a separate lace edged pelmet and wanted to use this to make a roman blind for her bathroom. Suggested to keep the lace edging to give it that romantic cosy effect! (Colour is different on completion due to the sun in the workroom!)

Thrilled to finally finish a project for myself! Took a break between client jobs to tackle the bare, freezing lounge window in my new house with a much-needed interlined curtain.

I used beautiful offcuts from a rescued pair of a super rare vintage fabric: Liberty's "Montrose" by Bernard Nevill for Boussac (1985), paired with wool interlining. Every detail counts: 100% Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining, hand-finished sides, and weights sewn into those crisp, hand-finished mitred corners.
