Not put much on for a while so thought I’d share a kitchen transformed last week in Newton.

A feature wall to strip, fill, sand, fill, sand and then clean and prime before even thinking about the paint.

Woodwork sanded, cleaned and primed and the remaining walls filled, sanded and cleaned ready for painting.

Once the prep was done, a couple of coats of durable white emulsion on the ceiling and two coats of durable emulsion in Park Cafe from the Valspar Tough range to the walls.

Finally a couple of coats of Dulux Trade Satinwood to the woodwork.

A really lovely transformation and a very happy customer.

Living room refresh completed last week.

Plenty of work before the paints came out.

Routine prep on top of repairing a damaged skirting and coving with holes through after radiator pipes recently removed.

A lovely finish in the end with a fresh white ceiling, Mellow Mocha from the Dulux range on the walls and a gloss finish to the skirting, window sills and architraves.

Another warm week to work in but the show must go on.

Customer has moved house and we’re working through it to get the rooms freshened up.

Quite a bit of work to do on this bedroom before the paint was even opened but it was all worth it in the end.

White ceiling and coving, walls finished in Sweet Embrace from the Dulux range and white gloss to the skirtings and architraves.

The doors are being replaced and a new carpet on its way to complete the job.

After much deliberation, it was decided upon a feature wall of Gentle Fawn and Timeless on the rest of the walls, both colours from the Dulux range.

A fantastic kitchen diner given its finishing touch recently.
Rock salt on the ceiling and Just Walnut on the walls, both from the Dulux range and a brilliant colour match with the kitchen units for the feature wall.

Bit of work to do on this one.

A spare bedroom requiring freshening up.

Some historical damp caused by a problem with the guttering, which had been sorted, and wallpaper on the walls and ceiling that was hiding a few sins.

Plenty of prep work to get everything ready for finishing with white emulsion throughout and an eggshell finish to the woodwork.

Lovely job recently completed in Kegworth.

White matt emulsion to the ceiling with the coving finished in silk.

Skirting boards and architraves with a gloss finish and the doors in satinwood.

Then the full room wallpapered.

Walls prepared by filling, sanding and sizing before hanging ‘L’Oasis Pearl’ wallpaper from the Ralph Lauren Designers Guild.

Lovely paper to work with and looks great.
