I have a confession to make... actually, three confessions!

First, I filmed this reel yesterday because I had a hospital appointment today (all is good, thankfully) and wasn't sure how long I'd be there or whether I'd have time to put together this week's show & tell for you.

Second, I don't think I've ever said " keep your bits and bobs tidy" to anyone in my life - let alone claimed that I'm "always saying it"🤣 And don't get me started on what my hands are doing! Honestly, I get in front of the camera and complete nonsense comes out of my mouth while my limbs have a mind of their own!

Third, I did manage to squeeze in a sourcing trip this morning too, and the weather has gone from wet and windy to warm and sunny. Is that really a confession, or am I just waffling now! 😂

Anyway, enough of my rambling. If I carry on, I might end up confessing to something I actually regret telling you🫣🤣

Well, the sunhat was swapped for a raincoat this week, but I still managed to get out and about so the treasure hunting continued!☔️

I've gathered up some of my favourite finds from this week's sourcing trips for this weeks 'Show & Tell' and some have even found their way to the website if you fancy heading over there for a peek!

I can't decide what my favourite find this week is! I think it could be the hand painted numbers on tin the little ironstone paint pans are gorgeous too.

A whole heap of lovely!🫢

I may have yet again used the word too much in this reel (I really don't know how to stop myself saying it😂 ) but it really has been a lovely week of warm sunny mornings out sourcing some wonderful gems for you.

There's some here on my show & tell, some being sorted by Paul in his workshop and a whole heap have just gone live on the website!

Well, our trip away to the Lakes already feels like more than a week ago! Since getting home, we've hit the ground running with lots to catch up on - cleaning, photographingand listing all our new finds.
Some pieces were waiting for us before we went away, some were sourced this week and a few treasures we sourced during our trip. It's almost impossible to drive past an antique shop without stopping for at least a quick browse isn't it?😅

It's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, and it looks like we have wall to wall sunshine 🌞 I hope you're able to get out and enjoy it. Our plan is to spend some time out in the garden in between hunting for more treasures, of course!

After a long old drive back from the Lake District yesterday, I was up and out early again this morning, heading off to hunt for treasures… and it definitely didn’t disappoint!!

I found beautiful paintings, some gorgeous rustic bits, and a few lovely pieces of ironstone too 🤍

I always end up waffling on and never manage to show you everything I find in one reel 😅 so if you fancy it, I could do another little show-and-tell later in the week and share the rest with you!

Something a little different this week!

We’re away in the beautiful Lake District, so there’s no usual Show & Tell — though I did find some gorgeous gems before we left home so I'll show them to you when we’re back.

I’ll try not to completely bombard you with mountain spam while we’re here… but the Lakes really are stunning, and we do love climbing a mountain or two! 🏔️

Just a quick show and tell for you this week - if I'm honest, it's been a bit thin on the ground. That's the nature of it, though. You can have a run of brilliant week uncovering treasure after treasure, and then the next....not so much! 🤷‍♀️
But it's never nothing really, I always find something and that's what's kept me getting out of bed early for the past 35 plus years. The thrill of the chase doesn't fade; it just means some weeks we're eating beans! 🫘

I lasted about 10 seconds! 🫣 and then I did it again!!

Trying not to use the word lovely as I over used it on my last reel and it was the first word I said! I am such an idiot!

Anyway here are a few more treasures from this weeks adventures - those old ledgers and day books are fabulous, showing a real window into the past. I love imagining the person that wrote them and the lives they were part of. They are perfect for styling, layering into displays, or simply getting lost in for far longer than planned.
