Classes for patchwork and quilting, workshops and all manner of crafty things Workshops are reasonably priced and usually include all that you need except a sewing machine but we do have spares of these as well, so don't be put off if you don't have a machine.

I will have a stall at Myddle Christmas fayre on Saturday. My rope bowls will be on offer along with fabulous table runner both festive and everyday. I will have a limited selection of handmade rugs as well. Also stocking stuffers such as glasses cases, coasters, card wallets and cosmetic bags. All my handmade items can be washed in your washing machine. If you are looking for something unique then you may well find it in my makes.

I have been making rope bowls, they come in different sizes that are determined by the amount of rope used to construct them. the smallest bowls are made from 10 meters of rope and the largest from 16 meters. Each bowl whatever the length of rope used is different and all are finished with a wooden bead. Pic 1 10meter bowls £10, pic 2 12meter bowls £12, pic 3 14meter bowls £15 and pic 4 16 meter bowl £18.

It's that time of year when the temperature drops and we think about keeping warm. Now I don't know about you but I love a hot water bottle but find some covers difficult to get on when the bottle is full of hot water, so have have made some easy to slip on covers. There are available for just £14, what's not to like.

It's the Clive village Christmas fair tomorrow afternoon. I so look forward to this as there is always a good selection of goodies for presents for all the family. I will be selling my rope bowls, trivets, table sets, make-up/wash pouched along with lots of other bits which will be fab for stocking fillers.

I have just opened a shop on folksy! Just look for the The Garden Room and see what I have on offer. There are just three items for the moment until I get to grips with it. there is some really lovely stuff on Folksy and all from UK only makers and all handmade - no massed produced stuff.

CLASS SHEDULE
Woohoo! we are finally ready to start classes in the new Studio. It is essential that you book your place if you wish to attend a class. If you would like further details please message or email me.

Patchwork and quilting - Tuesday and Thursday morning 10:30 to 12:30. I have 2 places on Tuesday and 3 on Thursday. The cost is £15 per session.

Sewing for the terrified - this class is for those that have not used a machine before or haven't for some time as well as those who want to expand their crafting skills. The first class will be Saturday 6th April from 10:30 to 12:30. and will run monthly (1st Sat of the month) Cost £15

UFO/Sit and sew days. UFO(unfinished object)/sit and sew days will be the last Friday of the month. Tea and coffee (possibly cake) will be provided but please bring your own lunch. 1st day will be Friday 29th April cost £20. The studio will be open from 10:30am to 3:30pm.

I haven't posted for a while as there has been so much going on and we have had to work around very poorly pets. However, the longarm has now been moved to it's new home and we have started moving all the fabric etc into the new Studio/classroom. The design wall is up and ready for use and we will start moving the tables, storage cubes and machines over at the weekend. Once we have everything straight and in it's place I will post the class schedule. I will also be starting a monthly Saturday morning class so if you are interested let me know as places will be limited.

This is my last make of 2023 ( I think). It has a bit of everything, raw edge applique, embroidery, free motion quilting and a flanged binging. All was done on my domestic sewing machine as the longarm is waiting to be moved to its new location.
