DEFINITELY, (not probably at all), the biggest part of making curtains is the beginning; It's a physical job from start to finish but with large full length ones the start is quite incredible standing up all day, heavy lifting and LOTS of fabric.

Had to get in the bath for this one! I think I was first too, in this new bathroom. A recent client had a pair of beautiful old, in perfect condition, interlined curtains which he held close to his heart. He asked me if I could repurpose one into a relaxed blind. I love Toile de Jouy designs, they depict ancient stories and this one features Chinoiserie scenes. Possibly a vintage Colefax & Fowler?

Hello everyone! I'm still here, just been too busy to post my creations. Hope you've missed them! They will be arriving soon.

Here comes the rain! 🎉🎉 hooray. Soak our crop fields and gardens, fill our reservoirs and water butts, make our country green again. I'm a sunshine lover but this is refreshingly wonderful in so many ways, including less energy usage with the fans and air con. Enjoy all!

My other love ❤️ my garden. I cannot resist a David Austin rose. I have about 35 of them, purchased over 11 years. This is just a titsy part of it. If I'm not creating or with family and friends, I'm gardening. You'll find me happiest in my shorts with soil filled finger nails. Happy Friday all! Have a great weekend! Xx
