Roll up, roll up - its only two weeks to go until Heal Festival presents: THE GATHERING begins! And I have to admit the line up is looking pretty beefy already - especially as its currently FREE ENTRY (you have to pre-register your ticket). We have live music, we have dance tents, we have the Jamdown - featuring over 70 artists and including the mighty Eva Lazarus , dance legends K-Klass and festival fave Tom Hingley surely what's not to love. We got some of our favourite friends hosting various arenas, with added VIP, wellbeing, street food and attractions... currently with free entry! And of course we are excepting donations for some good causes Lingen Davies Cancer Support and the Rural charity. So what are you waiting for?!?! Get on it, spread the news, register your place before all the space is taken up!

Register for your FREE ENTRY now 👉 www.healfestiva .co.uk
(space will be limited so once they are gone they are gone - optional add on's available - charity donations most welcome)

A few weeks ago, Eddi’s husband, John Douglas, sadly passed away, surrounded by love.

On behalf of Eddi and her family, we’d like to thank everyone who has reached out and shared messages, memories and kind words since John’s passing.

Last Sunday, family and friends came together in Glasgow to celebrate his beautiful life, songs and stories.

Reading your messages and seeing just how much John was loved and appreciated by so many has meant a great deal to Eddi and her family, and brought real comfort at such a sad time.

Did you know that, immediately following the Conquest of England by William the Conqueror in 1066, he appointed three of his most trusted devotees to contain and subdue the Welsh?

Hugh d'Avranches (Earl of Chester), William FitzOsbern (Earl of Hereford) and Roger de Montgomerie (Earl of Shrewsbury) would be the first Earls of what would eventually become known as the Welsh Marches. These Marches would be governed independently of England and Welsh kingdoms by Marcher Lords, many of whom built castles within their lands to continue the tradition of subduing the Welsh.

Over the next few centuries, the Marches' borders would near-constantly change as the result of battles and wars with the Welsh.

So great to be running lots of charity events for local causes at LOOP. BUT we still have space for another charity to get involved.

Great news is, we’ve done all the hard work and pulled together an awesome line-up featuring The Average Dad Band, Red by Night, Longden Calling and More.

We also deal with all the tech and planning.

All you need to do is get some volunteers to collect entry fee on the door, run a raffle or other fundraising activity (to maximise the money you raise and most importantly, promote it like crazy.

Does that sound like a deal? Contact us at [email protected] or tag someone who wants in.

We’ll pick the organisation we feel could make this an incredible event that raises loads for a cause.
