Last week we were lucky enough to have Natalie from IO-Shen in the shop to give us a refresher on their wonderful knives 🔪

It's always good to learn a bit more about the products we sell, and have a reminder of what makes them so special - we always learn something new!

Happy Saturday!

Our doors are open all weekend - until 5:30 today and with you 11-4pm tomorrow.

We've had LOTS of deliveries this week so fully stocked if you fancy treating yourself to some nice new cookware and kitchen bits this weekend 😉

It’s definitely felt like autumn is creeping in today 🍂
A rainy start, a bit of a chill in the air and definitely a change from yesterday!

Which got us thinking about all those cosy autumn meals… stews, casseroles, cottage pies, Sunday roasts and plenty of veg.

So we’ve picked 5 kitchen essentials we reckon are worth having to make autumn cooking a little bit easier…

1. A good masher 🥔
Cottage pie, colcannon, sausages & mash… autumn is definitely mash season.

2. A proper peeler 🥕
Root veg season calls for a peeler that can cope with piles of potatoes, carrots and parsnips.

3. A decent kitchen knife 🔪
Chopping mountains of onions, carrots and squash with a blunt knife is never fun!

4. A decent roasting tin 🍗
Sunday roasts, crispy potatoes, roasted root veg and easy one-tray dinners.

5. A good casserole dish 🍲
For stews, casseroles, soups and anything that can happily bubble away with minimal fuss.

Inspired by Bake Off’s Biscuit Week last night?
(although biscuits are always a good idea!😆)

We’ve got all the kit to help you have a go at home - including everything you need to get piping those iced gems from the Technical!

Plus plenty of baking trays, cutters, piping bags, lots of different size nozzles, cooling racks and even some lovely tins to store your creations.

New arrivals coming thick and fast this week!

A lot of our customers refer to the shop as an Aladdin’s Cave… but with over 7,000 lines and 70 suppliers, I often think I own a Tardis! 😂

Lots more stock coming over the next few weeks too, as we stock up for you-know-what… 🎄🎅🏻🎁
