Hello folks, I'm struggling to get a taxi or Uber tomorrow morning at 9am to Braintree Community Centre, are any of you who follow me going that way through Silver End who I can catch a lift with please?
I'm on the School Crossing Patrol until 8:40om and need to be at Braintree Community Centre by 9:20am.

For anyone absolutely astonished by how much liquid charcoal has jumped up in price (From under £10 to £16-£22) over the past several weeks, here is a method of making it at home.

Especially useful if you're one of my Friday morning learners at Braintree Community Centre this week.

Friday folk, if you don't have Gum Arabic knocking about at home, please bring your ground charcoal in a jar and you can use the Gum Arabic I bring with me on the day.

FREE WELLBEING ART CLASSES IN MALDON!!

I’m thrilled to tell you that from next Tuesday I’ll be running a free wellbeing art class weekly through the Family Learning branch of ACL.

By their very definition, it won’t be as intensive as our normal classes, less technical and looser in theme and learning style. (I’m -for obvious reasons- not allowed to teach the same level of content for free classes as I would the ones which learners would ordinarily pay for).

If you are interested please enrol sooner rather than later.

Learners today took a leap of faith when using gouache as a resist, completely covering their work in black ink, before washing it all off under a tap!!
Fear not, What's left behind is soft pastel shades and an effect like a lino print or wood-block print.
