An old warped woodgrain uPVC door that I’ve attended to many times in the past, the customer has finally chosen a Solidor Composite Door with a slam lock..thus is suitable for their needs and requirements!! It comes with a pull tab and a thumb turn barrel…twas a pretty penny but they were happy with the outcome!

Although I’ve had no van since November until last weekend!
I’ve managed to carry out a small amount of jobs…

This was a timber boxed end job…carried out on a very cold and frosty morning!

The roof is going to be getting a full felt replace later this year as the customer didn’t realise how bad it was and I simply didn’t have enough supplies with me in the car!! Had I’d been in the van …there’d been a roll of the breathable roof membrane and no doubt some cavity trays!

Trying to work without a van has been extremely hard these last two months, having Covid most of December and the after effects if it onto the new year even more so!!

When you supposed friends in the game don’t believe you it makes all that much harder to get on in life! However, I’ve been though worse, fighting many battles at the same time at the moment…having no van is the bane of my life though…hopefully it gets back to me soon…problem free!!

This finally gets installed on Monday after living in the lady of the manor’s library since just before Xmas!
