Gosh, is it really over a year since I last posted. I am still here, been rather busy to say the least. Kniting and sewing seems to have taken over my life in the possible way. I do it because I enjoy it. Have made literally hundreds of items so far thisyear and they are selling well. At least I have found a way to clear some stock. Photos to follow at some time.

Selling website reset and goods available for purchase. Sales limited to online but local customers can arrange to collect to save postage charges. Bargains and limited stock available, well worth a look.

More wool listed on selling site, some bargains and worth looking at. Trying to update and list as fast as I can. All are ends of line, once they are gone unlikely to be replaced. Intending to restock with new lines when I have the room.

Why do I not understand how the internet and associated things work. Trying to update my selling website, slow going isn't the word for it. Anyway hoping to slowly get selling again after my winter break and battle with a leaking cabin. Counting and relisting on a daily basis, clearance bargains available.

Decided that I really had to get some stock ready for my next craft market so in the last 5 days I have made 8 scarves, 1 adult beany hat and today yet another small tea cosy. However I am in utter chaos as the cabin has let some rain in and is therefore damp. To avoid damage to the stock I have moved it all inside my home until I can dry the carpet out. A very busy start to the new year.

So no show from the gas fitter but the leak has stopped. Water butts empty and I am still knitting. Or rather it is a sewing up day today. Was trying to think of a way forward to increase sales next year. Website is old and the person who built it has moved away. To my amazement I suddenly thought about investigating how to adjust it. So good old google came up with an answer. Task for the New Year, attempt to upgrade/update the site myself. Quite a big job but I will take my time and who knows I might shock myself and all who know me. Prepare for the saga, it could go on for some time.

Shop local if you really want help with a problem. Water butts were fitted incorrectly on my wooden cabin and they are now causing a damp problem. Into Hayling Hardware, explain the issue and a lovely man came up with such a simple solution. So 2 water butts now draining onto the garden and should keep the cabin drier through the winter. Great advice and helpful staff, what more could you want.

While I was knitting yet more small teacosies to replace the ones I had sold I suddenly realised that the heating was not on. Looked and saw that the boiler pressure was down so I opened the valve to refill the system. To my shock water started coming out of one of the joints. Had a brain storn and suspended a plastic cup under the joint using a piece of wool. Phoned the gas fitter who is coming today. Emptied said cup before I went to bed. Got up this morning, joint and cup dry!!! Oh well at least the boiler will get its service later. 3 small tea cosies knitted and just the head for another Santa to go.

AT LAST!!!! I posted 3 dresses back to a company on November 29th and have spent so much time trying to trace where they were so I could have my refund. Finally got an email today saying they have them and my refund could take up to 14 days. Better news, at least I will get my money back but how come when I buy it immediately goes out of my account but could take 2 weeks to come back!

Oh !! I have sold so much, ALL the small teacosies plus 3 small teapots, several of the ribbon catherine wheels and lace baubles that I made only yesterday. My handmade goods are looking sad. So I have spent the evening knitting scarves and hoping that they will increase the levels for a while and fill at least a couple of gaps. So much for not making things anymore.

A case of made today and sold tomorrow. Have sold most of the things I made yesterday which is just brilliant. Now running out of some materials but still have enough to make a few more baubles and catherine wheels. You can all guess what I shall be doing tonight, yes working to replenish the stock. Just nice that people seem to like what I make.

Well I am back in mass production mode. Having said that I didn't want to keep making things, I have spent the whole day making tea cosies, lace baubles and ribbon catherine wheels. Handmade goods are selling well so I might as well use up some of the materials I have and hopefully make more space out in the cabin.
