A little personal update 🤍

For those who may not have seen my personal post, my lovely mum passed away very suddenly last week.

As you can imagine, it’s been an incredibly difficult time for our family, and I’ve taken a little step back from Interiors Forty-Five to spend time with those closest to me.

I wanted to share this here, particularly for my clients, suppliers, subcontractors and everyone I work alongside, who may have noticed I’ve been a little quieter than usual.

I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to my wonderful clients, colleagues and BNI network for the beautiful flowers, messages and kindness I’ve received. I’ve been genuinely touched by everyone’s thoughtfulness 💕

I will be back doing what I love very soon, but for now, family comes first. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

It really does mean a lot.

We’ve even brought our moodboard to life with a little visual inspiration of how the finished space could look!

6 YEARS TODAY! 🥂💕✨

Today marks 6 years of Interiors Forty-Five… and what a SIX years it’s been!

So many fabulous projects, amazing clients, brilliant collaborations and opportunities I’m incredibly proud of. ❤️

But none of it happens alone. I’m so grateful for the brilliant team around me, the suppliers and trades who help bring my designs to life, and of course every client who trusts me with their space.

Six years on, I’m still loving what I do, still learning, still evolving… and still very excited about what’s next!

Here’s to 6 years of bringing interiors alive! 🥂💝✨

There’s something extra special about being trusted to help prepare someone’s home for sale… but when that someone is also a friend, it means even more. ❤️

Declan trusted me with the vision for his home - adding carefully selected pieces and those all-important styling touches to enhance each space and show the property at its very best.

Sometimes staging isn’t about completely transforming a property or filling it with furniture. It’s about knowing what to add, what to move and how to create that all-important first impression for potential buyers. 🏡

This one felt a little more personal though. A home holds so many memories, and putting it on the market marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Autumn staging may well be our favourite…

We introduced warm autumnal tones, layered textures and carefully chosen accessories to soften the space and give each room a sense of warmth, character and personality.

From the cosy living spaces to the finishing touches throughout, every detail was chosen to help potential buyers picture themselves at home here.

What a night! Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2026 🥂🏆

Friday night I had the pleasure of joining Tyrrells Home Furnishings as their guest at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards and what a night it was!

I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the Tyrrells journey over the last year - from visual merchandising and client projects, to the Summer Soirée, our Stage to Sell partnership, and the Scottish Interior Podcast.

It’s been brilliant to see a side of the business that perhaps many people didn’t realise was there, come to life.
So seeing it being recognised on Friday night with these awards was pretty special.
