🌸 A little bit of what makes us so happy about being part of the floristry industry… 🌸

There’s something so special about having a little shop where creativity, flowers and people come together every single day.

For me, it’s about putting absolutely everything I have into Flints Florist — creating beautiful things, trying new ideas, making someone’s day that little bit brighter and, most importantly, creating flowers that mean something to the person receiving them. 💐

Coming up to 3 years of being part of the Flints Florist family, I honestly can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. With my little sidekick Boonie Berry 🐾 along for the journey, we’ve seen so many wonderful faces come through the doors and been lucky enough to be part of so many special moments.

Over the years, we’ve also had some amazing opportunities outside the shop. From helping create the Harrods Summer Window in London, to freelancing alongside Blüm Floral for the incredible Fleurs de Villes – DIANA event — experiences that I’ll always be incredibly grateful to have been part of. 🌸

But it’s not always the big projects that make us love what we do.
It’s creating farewell flowers for families and helping them say goodbye to someone special. 🤍
It’s bringing wedding flower visions to life. 💍
It’s making birthday arrangements, anniversary flowers and those just because bouquets. 🌷

It’s the regular customers who become familiar faces, the new customers who walk through our doors, the lovely conversations, the smiles and knowing that something we’ve created is going to make someone’s day.

A customer names it, we make it! 🌸

And now, as we head into Autumn, it’s time to reflect on the year so far, put all our thoughts and creative juices into peak period and get ready for…

🎄 YES… the C-word is on its way! 🎄
We can’t wait to see all our wonderful customers & friends at the Wreath Workshop with The Gala Crew! It’s going to be a beautiful one. ✨

A little behind-the-scenes look at us creating one of our luxury white and peach coffin sprays for a very special lady who truly loved her peaches! 🤍

When creating our arrangements, we love playing around with different textures, colours and flower forms to bring each design together, making sure every little detail is just right.

And, of course, if the floor isn’t wet in a flower shop, you have to wonder if we’re doing something wrong!

A big thank you to the family for choosing us to create these farewell flowers. We hope they brought a little comfort and were a beautiful final gift to someone so dearly loved. 🤍

Creating this beautiful bridal bouquet for the very special Lauren 🤍🌸

I actually met Lauren through going to get some tattoos — she designed and created some beautiful tattoo designs for me, and who would have thought that a little while later I’d be designing and creating the flowers for her wedding day! 🥰 It felt only right that I returned the favour and created something beautiful for her special day.

Lauren and Jordan’s brief was all about moody colours — burnt oranges, deep and moody reds, with pops of lemon garden roses and pinks dotted throughout. Lauren wanted something big, bold and a real statement, so we kept the bouquet super textural and vibrant whilst still keeping that gorgeous, moody colour palette.

It’s honestly such a lovely feeling when people you meet along the way come back to you for such a special part of their lives, and we absolutely loved bringing this one to life. 🤍

We can’t wait to show you the rest of the beautiful flowers this gorgeous couple chose for their wedding day. They definitely picked some things a little different, which we absolutely LOVE here at Flints Florist! 🌿💐
